Time for Some FUN!

Ello folks! This summer (as with many anticipated summers), I want to have as much fun as possible. Truth be told, its why I work so hard (so that I can play hard). So far, I have been lucky enough to spend time with family, have pool parties, bbqs, lots of 3d movies, gym time, basketball and some fitness games/courses (kind of like mud-runners). Recently, my genious of a friend, Steve-o, invited us to goto Skirmish USA Paintball. And I’m super excited!

My friend’s been there before and it’s crazy. They’ve got “attack the castle”, private fields, wooded fields and even “Invasion of Normandy”! Its gonna be so much fun. Everyone I’ve spoken to on the phone has been very helpful answering all my questions and if you look at the pictures below, you can see how awesome they set things up!

We are going with a big group, so it’s gonna be awesome. I haven’t played in like 8 years!

“For every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned.”

“For every minute spent in organizing, an hour is earned.” -Benjamin Franklin

How would you like to get at least three hours of your life back each week in 2011? Well you can…by planning to do a better job of planning and organizing. That’s right…you have to make plans TODAY to do a better job in ’11. So right now I want you to grab your calendar, find a day in the week, then pick 30 minutes of that day to do nothing but plan and organize. And make that planning and organizing time a habit by doing it the same time each week. So are you ready to turn off the cell phone, close the email program and do nothing but clean the clutter and prepare for the days and weeks ahead? If so, you better be prepared to have more time on your hands than every before. And that time can be spent doing an even better job serving your number one customers…your friends and family!

FREE Internet Marketing Newsletter (and it’s good!)

We all love “freebies” but this is something even better:

(and yes, it is free)

But if you sell any product or service on the web this can and will prove to be not only a great free resource but also a profitable one. I have been reading it myself the last 3 months and got a lot of ideas that you see in my own business from this newsletter.

It’s called the Internet Marketing Newsletter and it’s written and produced by some of the most well known and successful marketers on the web.

The best part is, not only can you get the first issue free but every month thereafter is free too 🙂

Dig in and enjoy!

P.S  I’m not sure what happens to older issues so I’d go pick up your first copy before it gets moved to the archives.

Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing

dontbediscouraged

Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing. Focus on what your goals are and on what u want out of life.

For example maybe you like to travel a lot. Perhaps you like to fly first class. Maybe you want to have a jet one day. Perhaps you want to have enough residual income that you are truly financially independent.

The other night I was getting discouraged about the fact that so many infomarketer “players” are ahead of me…

I kill it in the real estate game and am known in my local area for flips and buying and holding. But in the info marketing world, I am only known to a select few players. I am not a “top dog” (yet) in this arena. I want to have a reputation in the info/online marketing world. I enjoy walking into a room and having my reputation speak for me.

Point being; the next day I remembered not to obsess with what everyone else was doing or how ahead of me they are. If you focus on that – you will feel like u can’t catch them.

I need to focus on what I want out of life and what I want out of my businesses.

–Not to mention what u focus on grows! So if you focus on how ahead other people are of you in a niche, that will grow. If you focus on your positives and focus on hitting your goals, that will grow–

By blocking out what everyone else is doing and re-focusing on what I want for me. I was  then able to move forward and hit my goals.

It doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing. I need to put my head down and focus on what I want out of life. (And you need to do the same).

Other people’s success or bragging rights does not affect whether or not I hit my goals in life. And it does not affect whether you hit your goals either.

I wrote this blog article to myself, to remind me of how to re-focus and re-excite myself and not get bogged down. After reviewing it, I felt that my readers could benefit from it too. The truth is even though I am considered a success to many, I still wish to constantly grow and challenge myself and surround myself with those that are greater than I. This is the only way you can truly grow.

reexciteyourself

Say goodbye to “Darn, I forgot to do that”

This thing does the “remembering” for you…

Thought this was a great find and wanted to share it with you guys, check it out.

Who are the best banks in the world?

bank1

I just read an article profiling the World’s Best banks. The article is posted by  CNBC and mentioned some banks I’ve heard of like JPM Chase and some banks I never even knew existed!

What do you do when you read an article relevant to your business? Do you read it? Print it? Do you save it as a favorite with intentions of reading it one day?

Sometimes we have the best of intentions but they get lost with all the hustle and bustle in life. My advice is to act with a sense of urgency. For example when a friend forwarded me this article, I quickly read it and made a list of the banks listed. I printed it and put it in a folder to share at my next Business Credit Workshop.

Furthermore, I put together a challenge for my Business Credit Workshop attendees to call these banks and see what their options are for business credit cards, loans and lines of credit. The results are going to be posted at the Business Credit Workshop Blog and on our Facebook Fan Page. My goal is that by taking this activity, it will benefit many, not just me…

“If you keep on doing what you have been doing…

…you’ll keep on getting what you have been getting!”

Just saw this video from a colleague of mine, that teaches this lesson in a simplistic, comical way. He has more videos and a unique “100 day challenge” that you can learn more about after viewing the video. Check it out, it’s really good.

The man who wins is the man who thinks he can

thoughts

I’m a big believer that you are what you think. Many times I walk into a situation and feel a little held back. Sometimes, I think I am crazy for moving forward on certain things. But at the end of the day, I know I must do what it takes to provide for my family. So I take over my thoughts and start to think of the positive end-result. I literally draw out what the best case scenario is and then believe that will be my end-result and what I will work towards.

You must control your thoughts. Do not be your worse enemy. Be an ally for yourself. Your own cheerleader. “Thoughts become actions.”

I found a poem (yes a poem!) online that I feel describes what I am saying very well… I hope you enjoy it.

The Victor
Poet: C.W. Longenecker or was it Walter D. Wintle?

“If you think you are beaten, you are.
If you think you dare not, you don’t
If you like to win but think you can’t,
It’s almost a cinch you won’t.

If you think you’ll lose, you’re lost.
For out in the world we find
Success begins with a fellow’s will
It’s all in the state of mind.

If you think you are outclassed, you are.
You’ve got to think high to rise.
You’ve got to be sure of yourself before
You can ever win the prize.

Life’s battles don’t always go
To the stronger or faster man.
But sooner or later, the man who wins
Is the man who thinks he can.”
